Highway 87 Overpass Sensing WATER
Pretty blue shades under a Highway 87 overpass are part of an interactive art work called Sensing WATER by artist Dan Corson (http://dancorson.com). This art work was designed to interact with NOAA weather data to change the light patterns at night that go along with the paint. Heavier winds would increase the motion of the lighting effects.

Acatl 11 Topilzin Quetzacoatl – parking lot mural
This mural is also in the parking lot accessible from 3rd street. It is by Carlos Rodriguez (https://www.carlosrodriguezart.com/) who does so many beautiful murals that I am drawn to. His work is always striking with engaging subjects, lines, and his use of color pulls me in further.

Santa Clara County Fair
This new mural is up at the Santa Clara County Fair Grounds to celebrate the fair’s 80 years. Mural by @1984.yo.
This year’s fair, going on now, has rides, pig races, fighting robots, and lots of farm animals. I enjoyed the displays of handmade items by county residents of all ages like blankets, jams, artworks, clothing and more. And the geology exhibit and reptile exhibits had friendly people from whom I learned new things.
There was also this art gallery exhibit with lots to appreciate.

Krazy George riding around in an old San Jose fire truck! That is Krazy George, inventor of The Wave that you see at sporting events, in the red shirt on back of the truck.
