Fuel Tank Art
This shiny by day and color reflective work of art shines with internal lights at night. It is made from a recycled airplane fuel tank and can be found at San Jose Fire Station #17 in south San Jose. It was created by California artist Gordon Huether (gordonhuether.com).
Plant Nursery Mural
Mural Bus
This artfully painted bus was seen parked in south San Jose. While not confirmed, this sure looks like the work of San Jose artist Patrick Hofmeister (www.hofmeisterart.com) who painted a downtown parking garage in San Jose.
Sunflowers
The sunflower stocks have since dried and are now removed from the garden bed, breaking down in the mulch pile. The seeds have all gone to feed the local squirrel. That was not originally the plan, though it worked out just fine that way. Looking back over these photos from June before the seeds developed.
Almaden Lake
Happy Flowers
California Poppies; so beautiful.
Mural on a Home’s Gate
I find it fascinating and a special treat when I see art and murals on private residences. This one found in south San Jose on a wooden gate.
Beautiful Tree
A beautiful tree at Bernal-Gulnac-Joice Ranch Park.
